playing CDs
My apologies for some ridiculously simple questions:
I currently use a Soundblaster Audigy card to listen to CDs. Will installation of the Digi 001 still permit me to do this? Or does the PCI card for the Digi 001 connect to the CD player?

There's no connector on the 001 PCI card to accept an input from CD. So you be just fine with your current setup and the addition of the 001.
