Default Disable Fader pop up

I would like to disable the fader popping up on the screen when I'm editing, every time I select a place on the edited background a fader pops up, I do not want this.
Can someone tell me how to remove this behavior?

I'm going to presume you have a EuControl surface like Avid Control or S1 attached. If so - it's likely this:
