Default Is there a command for this?

Some dork (me) left the autotrack feature on while recording sermons. I have CDs with 99 tracks. Is there a command to allow for dragging the imported files from the Audio files onto a stereo track in order while in shuffle mode? Importing using audio to track creates 99 tracks, which is a drag.

Thanks.

why not just use a spdif out from a cd player, spdif in to PT, hit record and do something else till it's done-or select an amount in PT just longer than the cd, hit record and walk away...

What? That's real time. I didn't spend 100k on all this crap to do what I used to do with tape.

As far as I know, this feature was added in 7.0, so you may be SOL. Sorry.

I belive using the workspace browser will allow you to import the tracks from the CD, then drag those tracks one at a time onto a stereo track that is in Shuffle mode will automatically slam them together.

In Pro Tools 7, when you click on the "Regions" menu above the Regions list, at the very bottom is "Timeline Drop Order". If you select "Left to Right", you can drag a number of regions out to a track and they will be sequenced one after the other in the order they're in the list. Time to upgrade.

but only the first one is spotted, the others will just be butt up to it. Not sure why they did it this way but sadly it's how it works.
