Since i'm using Genelec 1032 i have more time to sleep, eat, f**k because i get the right sound very very sooner. Attention to the dynamics, at the end of the mix session i listen to the song at a very low level and push some tracks because some things i can hear in the Genelec can disappear in consumer systems.

666:
Genelec 1032 monitors are pretty costly. As owner of Dynaudio BM15a's (also a bit costly) that I'm unsold on, are you able to speak to how your Genelecs might compare to the Dynaudio? You've noticed perhaps an Ebay seller who's always showing new Genelecs at large discounts from USA prices. Did you happen to deal with the Ebay source for your speakers?

Hey 24-7
Couldn't find any info on the web about "Truth Audio" or " TA1P"'s. Any advice on where to look for info?

regards

Malcolm

I had some discount. Anyway, IMHO it is my best investment!

Too bad about the NS-10Ms, they were like giant Auratones, and just about every pop record for the last 20 years (got mine in '84) was referenced and/or mixed on them. The MSP-10s are Yamaha's answer to their own standard, only time will tell (they are $599 each, with plenty of amp) if that dog'll hunt. IMHO, Genelec 1031APs with the 1092A sub is a great rig. Been listening for 5years on this set-up in a 18'x 16' CR, and you don't get tired, they translate well to NS10s and Auratones. The Mackies are fake in the bottom (although "pretty" sounding), and the Meyers are accurate, but weak in the amp. The best monitors I've ever heard (bar none) are here:
