Default Group clip gain adjustment problem

Hey folks,
Scenario;
I take three (3) tracks (soprano, alto, and tenor); highlight the three waves; right click and select group. Now I have one big group consisting of three tracks. I use clip gain to increase the group track 3db's. When I release the mouse, the third track in the group (the bottom track) SEPARATES from the other two, leaving me with the first two tracks as a group, and the third one alone by itself, Is this a bug? Or is there some NEW OPTION I don't know about that I need to change?
Im dealing with choir tracks and this thing is DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!
Running PT 11.2.1.

Somebody please help me!
Thanks

No idea why yours is splitting off, and can't imagine why it would be by design.
Seems more like a bug than a practical 'feature', but for someone else it might be a "useful" behavior, but I don't know how. Good luck.

Thanks Niner,
Do you know if I can put a screenshot or video up so others can see?

Same problem here on PT 11 HD 11.2.1, 10.9.4. It wasn't always like this.

Same on Win 7 and PT 11.2.1 .
But only, when dragging the clip gain fader, not when dragging the clip gain line or when changing clip gain with the mouse scrollwheel or with the up/down arrows.
(Thread might be moved to the PT 11 Forum to gain more "publicity".)

Are you absolutely certain that you haven't accidentally gotten a clip gain change somewhere in that bottom clip? What happens if you separate the clip group, ungroup it, do a "Clear Clip Gain" to the bottom clip, then re-group and try it?

Is this behavior repeatable with any region group, or is it just happening with this one?

best,
rich

Yes, happens on any 3 new tracks with freshly consolidated clips, grouped and clip gain adjusted via the clip gain fader (easy to reproduce).

It is absolutely repeatable every time.
If i hit command Z to undo it, I get a crazy result. The top clips remain affected and the bottom clip is softer BUT THEY RETURN TO A GROUP.
I don't know if you've seen the video but here it is again.
