Default Probably a dumb question..

I'm on PT HD 8. Today, I find that undoing (ctl z) a newly recorded take leaves the region still in the region list and the wav file in the audio folder. They must be manually deleted (with 2 warnings each...). When you have 17 takes to get a track, this becomes a real pain. This is new. In the past, undoing a take immediately after record eliminated the region & the wav. I'm sure I inadvertent tweaked something. Manual is no help.

Can anybody explain?

Thx!

Cmd "." will stop the recording and delete it. If I am remembering my short cuts right.

No. I should have noted I'm on PC. On PC, undo is definitely Control + Z. It's been working for years! And, it does remove track from edit window. But, for some reason, now it is leaving region (in region list) & audio file (in audio folder) behind.
