Default New ilok client software causing problems?

I have been using my Mbox at home and at work almost everyday for over a year without problems. Then last night I installed the new ilok client software and protools won't start. It is the only system changes I have made in months. I've tried re-installing the software without any luck. The Mbox seems fine. It is still working with the wave and Asio drivers. It seems just the PT 6.1.1 software has stopped working. Anyone else having this problem? Is it just coincidence and maybe the problem is un-related? Any sugestions?
