Hello,
I want to record my voice at half speed (shift+cmd+space). When my rec is done, I play back at normal speed and obtain a high pitch voice. But since version 11, the result is full of click ! I use an HDX rig with an AVID HD I/O and protools 2019, 2020 (osx 10.13.) same result. Same gear under protools 10 (osx 10.9.6) ans it's perfect. I try on my laptop with an avid interface, same bug/problem. Any clue ? Or maybe if you have time, can you record your voice at half speed and see if you have click at nomal speed ? Thx a lot and merry christmas. Bruno |

Yep. Happens here too,
I just did a few seconds half-speed rec, and there are a couple of obvious, "standard" digital clicks.

Hello Ben,
thx for the test. Anyone else ? Avid, maybe you can fix this bug on the next release ? Easy, just find the right code in protools 10 ;-) |

I've halted at Pro Tools 2020.9.1 and half speed recording works as normal.
Recording at half speed results in playback pitched one octave up. Stephen |

Not just that but any modulation of the voice like vibrato also goes crazy. Like what happens if you take Bruce Springsteen's 'I'm On Fire' 33 rpm vinyl and play it back at 45 rpm and it sounds like Dolly Parton.

You could record at regular speed and then use Elastic Audio to pitch the octave up
