Default deleting blank space at end of tracks

I am new to Protools. I created a 15 minute audio progam with two tracks: voice and music. I imported an audio file (music for track two. The file was 30 minutes and I cut it down to 15 for this track. The cut out portion left a long empty space at the end of the progrom which I cannot delete. The result is the final rendering leaves a long blank space running after the program is complete. Any suggestions on how to cut this empty section out?
Thanks so much for the help.
Ron

There's probably an automation breakpoint or two at the place where the music originally ended. Sometimes they're automatically placed there upon import. Switch to the volume graph on all tracks (hold down the Alt key while switching one track, if WinXP). Select the region of time on all tracks from the end of your last audio to the end (Ctl+Shift+Enter on WinXP), and choose Edit->Clear Special->All Automation. That should do it.

BTW, you can bounce down any portion of a session by selecting the range of time before bouncing.

David,
Thanks so much for the help. Chosing the section that I want to bounce turned out the best.

Select unused part(s), hit backspace. Select unused files & remove them.
Select remaining audio & do: “Compact Selected”.
