CPU Spiking when pressing / holding a key
I've been getting CPU spikes when I press and hold a key on my setup.
This has been happening over a number of releases going back to 12.5 iirc. USB Keyboard, which I've plugged into USB2 and USB3 ports with the same outcome. When playing back a session I can press any of the modifier keys (CTRL, SHIFT, ALT) and it will generate a spike and cause Pro Tools to stop playback. 12.8 seems a little more robust in this respect, but will still throw an error. Anyone seeing this on their rig? Win 7 64/ i7 4790K / 32 GB Ram / GE Force GT 610 Mark Last edited by biasrocks; 06-28-2017 at 09:00 AM. |
