Pro Tools Reinstatement Plan Question

Dear Folks,

Hope all is well.

I just purchased an Avid Reinstatement plan for my Avid Pro Tools Perpetual license which expired in June.

My question is: can I keep the code and use it later since there is no new update for Pro Tools now that I am looking for ? (I am waiting for Big Sur Support).

Hang on to the code - the clock starts when you redeem it (even if you don't complete the upgrade by selecting your old license to surrender in my.avid.com).

Correct, as stated in the KBs I linked:

no expiration

Q: If I purchase a reinstatement and do not immediately redeem, will it expire?
A: No. When you purchase a reinstatement from a reseller the code does not expire and you are able to use it at a future time. (Important to note that the clock on your Software Updates and Support Plan starts when you redeem the code in my.avid.com/products/redemption.) Avid will continue to honor reinstatement redemptions after we discontinue selling them.

You know Avid has and will not release that info beforehand so you just have to sait and see when something comes out that is of interest for you.
