BFD and PT7 problem...can anyone help?
Hello, total newbie here!
I got BFD today and installed it fine on my computer. I'm using a TD-20 to send the midi data to BFD and trigger its sounds. Works fine (well, the hi-hats could use some help, but otherwise works fine). Now, here's where I get lost. I'm trying to record my drum into Pro Tools. I created a midi track and set the input to the digi 002 input 1 and the output to bfd rewire channel 1. I can hear all the sounds being triggered when I play the TD-20. I can record the midi track and it will playback the BFD sounds. I can't, however, figure out how to record each instrument from BFD on seperate tracks...only a stereo midi track. If anyone is brave/kind enough (come on, it's the holidays) to walk me through it I'd be tremendously appreciative!!!! Help, I'm freaking out after 8 hours of fiddling! |

You need to choose the "BFD All" or "BFD Ultra" plug-in from the inserts / instruments menu. Now create some AUX tracks, and BFD's additional outputs will appear as available INPUT sources to those AUX tracks.
