OK ... answering my own question ..... just got a 2012 MBP, nuked it, installed OS Mojave 10.14.1 clean, installed the Avid Mac drivers (1.2.13), the E.R. Editor 1.0.0 .... and voila .... seems to be working .... yay.

Note: I am not running ProTools on this Mac .... just the Eleven Rack Editor and USB3 to the hardware.

You're lucky. Mojave is still not approved for PT

And if you do run Pro Tools on this Mojave system you will need to enable microphone inputs in macOS security & privacy for the Eleven Rack inputs to work in Pro Tools. Pro Tools is running fine on Mojave for me, including with the Eleven Rack, but I've not pushed it very hard.

Same here. Just installed PT on my new shiny MBP 2018 with latest Mojave OS and it runs great so far. Loaded up a 196 track session with many plugins and lots of automation and edits etc and it really is quite a change in snappy-ness and overall operations. I have yet to load older sessions from PT11HD butthe songs we did this fall and late summer seem to run very stable here.

The best thing would be to try on a separate computer like Jfreak and I do that can be hosed up and reformatted if issues arise but I would never try this on our main Mac Pro's (trashcans) as an issue on those machines would stop our main production room so testing on a Computer not critical for productions would be my suggestion for those who are asking.
