Default Xpand FX2 send on C channel goes bonkers

Hello to all Xpand2 users,

I'm creating a stacked sound in Xpand 2. In the Part C section (part 3) no matter what patch is loaded the FX2 knob jumps erratically to different levels randomly while the track is playing .

I have checked the FX2 automation parameter and even though there are no parameters or automation written on the track the automated send level level jumps around for no reason.

This happens when the automation mode selector is off or in read mode.

I tried to override it by setting 0 volume parameter automation for FX2 Send.

The send still jumps around but this time in beat with the music.

Does anybody have a clue?

Am using Xpand 2.2.1.18799 with system as specced below.

Thank you for your assistance.

If there is some level automation going on have you checked through all the different volume/velocity categories?

Do you have a midi keyboard? Maby try disconnection that to se if it's sending some volume/level signals.

I found the culprit... went to MIDI event list and found an "undefined" parameter controller value of 88 which had somehow recorded itself onto the part. Selected and deleted the spurious data and I'm good to go. It was eating tons of MIDI bandwidth. Have no idea what caused it.

Thx for your suggestion...
