LCD mount? Where do I buy the low profile mount from demo?
I would like to know where to find the 'low-profile' mounts that the Digidesign guys use in the demos with the Venue system. I saw it when they demo'd here before we purchased, and I saw it again at InfoComm. Whats the source? Where do I get two of these?

Sheldon,
This link doesn't work for me, I guess it has to do with the format change of the DUC? |

On my Profile I do not even use the monitor attachment anymore. I find it blocks my view of the stage too much. I usually just set it on the RF rack these days and use something like a small case to get it up to proper viewing level.

Re: LCD mount? Where do I buy the low profile mount from demo?
In a situation like ours (lots of volunteers), having the display in front of you is not optional, its really kind of mandatory. But, the OEM mount puts that display WAY up there. This OSA mount drops the thing down to where the bottom of the screen is nearly touching the surface, its roughly 8 inches lower! That means, you can peer right over the top of the monitor, and it doesn't block ANY of the stage view. Nice! Its also nice to be able to slide that monitor around to any position you want. You aren't tethered to the mounting position. This is really helpful when you're training someone, or I can imagine it would be really helpful if you are touring this console and you are always in a different place. This little widget is a must have. Its pretty tough to adjust the 7-band EQ plug-in without some visual feedback. So, I wouldn't want to put the monitor totally off in a peripheral position.
