Nope, this is the one I'm upgrading. It's actually almost a complete build. I'm replacing everything except the CPU and Fan and my two harddrives. I had to even get a new case because the i/o panel on the 530 isn't removable. So a different motherboard wouldn't have worked. I have all the parts except the PSU, which will be here on Monday. I'm contemplating just buying a new CPU as well, possibly the Q8300.

BTW, my graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 3650 512 MB PCI Express Graphics Card. Forgot to add that!

I think that I would stick with the Q6600. Given the faster memory you were looking at you should be able to easily overclock the Q6600 a little bit. You should run CPUz and see if you have a GO or B3 Steppng processor. The later GO series run a little cooler than the original B3's.

Everything you said there looks like Chinese to me! I'm just barely past crawling stage with this build stuff! I got the computer in like August of 08. That should give you an idea of the series of Q6600 I have I think!

Can you guys tell me what I should be doing with those utilities or where I can go to read up on OC'ing my specific setup?

Also, I put the wrong stock mobo up there. My current mobo is Foxconn DG33M03.

They are useful from a

A) What Hardware do I have? stand point.

B) What are my current speeds or settings?

C) What are my temperatures or voltages currently at?

Once you have determined your system is running correctly at the default speeds you can think about "Turning it up".
