Default I'm getting BSOD when I start Pro-Tools essential

Recently, I purchased a USB Producer mike, bundled with Pro Tools M-Powered Essentials.
However when I have the mike connected, whenever the software starts, it sticks on Creating DAE objects, then I get the BSOD: IRQL not less or equal.

It's quite annoying, and I'm just wondering whether anyone could help me with my problem, as I wish to use the software to record and I'm not managing to get it to start.
