Default Problem with pre/post roll punch-in record

Hi everyone.

I am running PT 9.0.3 on an Intel mac 2 X 2.66 Ghz dual core Xeon machine, 3 gig RAM, Quad core and three Serial ATA drives - 1 TB, 500G and 150 Gig drives. I also have two external 250 Gig firewire drives connected. The mac model is MacPro 1,1 (2006 I think). Interface is an 002.

When I try to punch-in with pre-post roll enabled the pre/post roll is ignored!!

It's a while since I have used ProTools as I have been working in studios running other apps lately.

I was sure I was setting up and enabling the points and range correctly so I fired up LE 7.4cs10 on an old 17" Powerbook connected to a 002 and discovered my memory serves me correctly and the punch-in with pre/post enabled worked fine on this setup.

Is there a known problem with pre/post roll using PT 9.0.3?

I'm back in my own studio again trying to lay some new originals down when the mood is on me and I have some time! So any help would be appreciated so as I can get on with it before I get called back to work elsewhere again.

Thanks,

Eugene.

Thanks guys

Eugene.
