Default Solo moves track on top

How can you disable the track going on top of the edit window when soloing ? I can't find anything in the doc under "Solo".

Pro Tools Ultimate 2024.3, Monterey 12.7.1, M40 S6

Are you running Eucon? I think there is a setting in Eucon for this.

My second guess was that it is Eucon-related, but nothing was done on the S6 at the same time. I'm going to check, thanks!

Since you are on an S6, you don't have "Eucontrol."
Your issue is probably the Pro Tools Preferences settings under Preferences > Mixing > Controllers box.
Probably the "Edit Window Follows"

You've probably got turned on the touched track becomes the "select" track (can't remember the Avid terms but attentioned track = select track) in the S6 preferences and then Pro Tools is following to scroll to it based on the Pro Tools preferences. You need to turn one of those off to prevent what you are seeing.

juts to follow up on what @BScout was saying, take a look at this section of your Pro Tools Preferences (under the Mixing tab):
