Default Need Help Connecting Mixer to Mbox2

I'm trying to record guitar. I have two condenser mics facing my amp. I'm running those microphones to my Mackie 802-VLZ3 Mixer with phantom power. How to I go about connecting the mixer to my mbox2. What kind of cables do I need and where do I put them? Right now I have two available TRS cables but I'm not sure if those can connect the two for recording or if they can, where to put them.

MAIN outputs of the mixer to the 2 TRS inputs of the Mbox. But why add the mixer at all? Just patch the mics to the 2 Mbox preamps and turn on phantom power

Thank you for that! And I'm recording drums with 7 different mics later so I just need to figure out how to run everything together. Okay I've got my mics going through my mixer but only the right levels are responding. Is that normal? Or should the left levels be going too? I literally just started this stuff so I'm ignorant of everything right now. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Exactly what mixer? Exactly what cables and connections?

You have to submix to two channels. That being said, the Mbox Pro would be better for your needs if you can afford it.
