Default PT LE 7.3 Don\'t see the Ignition Pack Plug-ins

On Windows XP Pro with New install of PT LE 7.3. MBox 2 USB.

In Mix view, when I go to add a plug, the ignition pack plugs are not there.

I just started installing them..the newest versions..such as Live 5.2.2...Reason 3.04

Shouldn't they show with the Bomb Factory and Digidesign plug ins that do show?

I am a super-noobeee at this..so if I am missing something simple...
Is there some formatting that I need to do after install, register and obvious functionality?

Thank you!

Default ReWire Ignition Pack Plug-ins in Digidesign folder

I found them!

Ableton Live Lite and Reason Adapted are ReWire clients!

"Sorting ReWire Client Plug-ins by Manufacturer—When sorting the plug-ins menu by manufacturer, all ReWire plug-ins can be found in the Digidesign folder."

It is in the Digidesign folder!!!

It would be even better if there were a ReWire folder...

Ah...

Let me try to describe what I mean.

There are 2 basic views in Pro Tools
One is the Mix Window.
(See Page 9 of the Pro Tools Reference Guide for an image of this)
It is composed of channel strips.
The top most portion of the Channel strip is the "Insert" Signal Routing control
If you click one up-down arrow in the Insert Control you will have options including one for
"Plug Ins"

In that list (depending on how you have it ordered in your Preferences!) you will either see the plug-ins listed by Manufacturer or by Categories, or both as I currently have it (See Page 5 of the Digirack Plug-ins Guide for how to organize Plug-ins.)

If they are ordered by Category, then simply scroll through the categories...I can't recall which one Amplitude is listed in in the category view!

Select it and it should open momentarily.

Yes it opened for me...once I found it!

I did as you said and do not find the IK Multimedia Amplitube plug in.
Its not even listed under manufacturers.

Did you have a seperate disc for your iginition pack or is it on the main cd that intsalls PT?
I think I am missing some discs even though mine was a new sealed box.

Thanks again!
Pat

Lets see if I can help you here!

>Did you have a seperate disc for your iginition pack or is it on the main cd that intsalls PT?<
The ignition pack came seperate with:
1 folder describing all Ignition Pack tools
7 CDs:
-Reason
-Ableton Live Lite
-Melodyne Uno
-BFD Lite
-AmpliTude, SampleTank2 SE, T-Racks EQ
-Pro Tools Method One
-Bunker 8 Deux EX Machina:The rEX Collective

6 postcards containing unique Registration codes:
-Reason
-Ableton Live Lite
-Melodyne Uno
-BFD Lite
-AmpliTude, SampleTank2 SE, T-Racks EQ
-Broadjam.com

There were also 2 primary registrations cards...1 for the MBox2 and 1 for PTLE

You need all the postcards that give the unlock keys.

At the bottom, I will link you to a page that will give you instructions to get a free download of the newest versions of some of them:
-Ableton Live Lite 5.2
-Celemony Melodyne Essential 1.5.2
-FXpansion BFD Lite 1.5
-IK Multimedia AmpliTube LE 1.1
-IK Multimedia SampleTank 2 SE 2.1
-IK Multimedia T-RackS EQ 1.3
-Propellerhead Software Reason Adapted 3.0.4 (Win) & 3.0.5 (Mac)

You still need need the disk in some cases (as mentioned on the page I will link you to) because all files are not in all updates and some are JUST updates.

If you are missing anything, be sure you have registered your Pro Pools with Digidesign and then contact customer support immediatly (Tuesday), by phone and let them know!

Here is that link!

Hope that helps!
