Default Digidesign Midi i/o

hi,

I have lots of problems with midi since I have changed to G5/OSX
I use a motu- microlite interface, PT 6.4, HD2, G5 1.8

now I think about buying a digi midi i/o

how does it work? will I get rid of all this hanging midi- notes?

The MIDI I/O works great in a G5 with 6.4 (I run a Dual 2 Gig on that same build).....I've never had a problem with mine. It should clear things up unless you have a different problem with some of your MIDI gear....

Dont buy a Digi Midi I/O , it is way to pricy, try a MOTU MIDI TP . I've used one for years with no problems. G5/6.3

I replaced my MOTU MIDI TP with the Digidesign MIDI I/O and since then I have enjoyed a really happy and transparent MIDI-life.

The MIDI I/O really does it job well and it seem to have more processing capacity (less problems with running sysex transfers through it).

I've had a good, trouble-free experience with my MIDI I/O.

I bought the Digidesign MIDI interface because I wanted a device that would support MIDI time stamping. I also assumed a Digidesign MIDI interface would have a more harmonious relationship with HD and various PT systems to come.

Smooth so far.
