setting up function keys on ibook

I have protools LE on a G4 but have downloaded Pro Tools Free onto my ibook for transpor/editing purposes. How do I get my keyboard function keys to act similar to my G4 keyboard?

Not sure on the iBook, but on my G3 laptop, you hold down the key marked "fn" on the lower left corner of the keyboard. For the missing number keypad, you can press the "num lock" key at the top, which enables the keys with the small numbers, +, -, =, etc. on them.

Thanks for the response. Actually it turned out to be very easy on the ibook. Just press the function button and the protools F1-F12 functions work!
