Mackie D8B & ProTools
Is it possible to control ProTools using a D8B? I just found that I can
Play and Stop playback in ProTools pressing the button on the D8b and viceversa but I cannot Rewind or Forward or use the the jog wheel.... Again if I set a time on the D8B, I get the same time on ProTools but I cannot arm the tracks. I'm not saying that I want a full control surface but at least to use same basic MMC commands.. Any help? Thanks |

Re: Mackie D8B & ProTools
YOu have to get the new sony 9pin option that only works with 5.1. It allows Pro Tools to opereate in "remote" mode, which is different than your previous 9pin options. You can track arm from the Mackie and everything.
