It's an excellent de-esser. I don't have a lot of them to choose from, but it usually works the best of the ones I own.

My problem is I want both the bx_xl V2 limiter and the Millenia NSEQ eq but they're on different weekends and I'd not be able to take advantage of both the voucher AND the bundle price at the same time. Add to that whatever is the $299 discounted to $99 mystery plug in weekend 4; like I wrote earlier I'm guessing it's the Elysia Alpha mastering compressor. Do I roll the dice and wait to see what the plugin is and risk it being something I already have or don't need and thereby miss out on the earlier deals?

I know someone will say buy them all but I'm still trying to get my iMac fixed and that's a whole 'nother story as detailed somewhat in another thread. Needless to say funds are WAY tighter than I'd like right now.

The Whovian in me immediately went to what the Moment box interface (played by Billie Piper who played Rose Tyler in Dr. Who) kept repeating when she and the War Doctor were in the barn in the Day of The Doctor special. Shows you where my mind is - can't wait to see the first female Doctor ever in this year's Christmas regeneration special (I'm at the mercy of BBC America). There was a female Master (Missy) but never the Doctor.

Yeah I've started demoing plugins I just used to hear something I liked and dive in with a purchase if the price was right. However, it's long time to be a bit more discerning even though plugins are cheaper than ever.

1. set a budget
2. Identify specific items I actually want/need (okay "need" is relative)
3. IF (and ONLY if) any of those items have a decent sale price AND its within budget, then I'll but it. Otherwise, nope, nope, nope!
