HDX not recognized anymore

We use HDX PT 11.3.2 and switch to PT 10.12.4 at times because of 32bit Native Instruments
This had been fine but the last time when going back to PT 11 no HDX is available.
Only options in playback window are HDMI, built in line I/0, built in digital and aggregate, (also holding N to launch PT 11)
HD I/O Interface top lights show loop master, internal sync, other two show sync mode loop. No HD interfaces in set up I/O window.
Running OS 10.12.4 for PT 11 and booting OS 10.8.5 for PT 10. Replaced HD driver 11.3.2 and replaced PT 11
On G5 3.33 Ghz 6 core Intel Xenon memory: 16GB 1333 Mhz DDR3
I – lok has HD 11 bundle with all four licenses PT 10 PT 11 PT HD 10 PT HD11
Booting OS 10.8.5 for PT 10 works fine.

I'm lost Pro Tools 11 is not supported on MacOS 10.12 Sierra. The last OS supported was Yosemite. And there were known issues--at least some of the same El Crapitain ones, why are you running on the bleeding edge? I don't know what exact model Mac Pro you mean, but there is no reason you should be running macOS Sierra on a Cheesegrater trying to support Pro Tools 10 and/or 11. Fix that mess now.

What changed from when it did work? (tell me you have OS update disabled).

Make sure the licenses are really what you expect and visible. e.g. open ILM and look at what is on the iLok. Make sure no other iLoks are connected. Yes even if it works on one OS and not the other.

What does Digitest say? (compare under the OS where it does not work and the one where it does).

I would be suspicious of device drivers. And there were specific dependencies of drivers and Pro Tools versions. Make sure you have the right ones for that version of Pro Tools 11 and reinstall them anyhow.

I'm not aware of any incompatible firmware updates, but I don't use HDX so mayde somebody else can chime in.

What is PT 10.12.4? They only went to PT10.3.10

Also why not run PT11 on 10.8.5?

Well it was a G5 problem. Sessions were corrupted and would not open HDX on other systems also. Got new Mac Pro and PT 12 today, all good.
typo on PT10.12.4.
