How to clean cloud storage ?
Hi there,
I began to use Pro Tools First without knowing that Projects are synchronized with cloud by default. As I began to import a lot of WAV files in my project, the size of the project start to exceed the 1 Go cloud storage allocated size. So I receive an email asking to increase the cloud storage size. Then, I tried to stop synchronization but Pro Tools said to wait until the synchronization finish. But the sync couldn't end because there was no free space enabled ! I finished by erase the project but the datas seems to be always in the cloud because the percentage is still important (see the capture). So, my question is the following : How can I clean the cloud storage ? Note than I have no more project synchronized now.

Re: How to clean cloud storage ?
Have you tried deleting the project from within Pro Tools First?
When PTF starts and the project Dashboard is displayed, click on the down arrow on the right of the project and choose Delete. Since you have manually deleted files and things are out of sync, it may not work. Give it a try and if it doesn't, post back here and I'll see if support can reset the account for you. |

And make sure you LOG OUT and Login to the cloud again after deleting the cloud files.

Re: How to clean cloud storage ?
Thanks for answering.
I can't load the selected project as I deleted it. After having logged out / logged in from my account, I have the following message (see capture and here is the translated into english of the initial french message, by Google Translate) : There is one or more projects that are not syncing with the cloud stored in your project cache that you cannot access because your cloud plan has expired. Click "Learn more ..." to learn how to renew your cloud plan. EDIT : Then, is it possible to see if support can reset the account for me ?

Re: How to clean cloud storage ?
I can escalate, although I believe that when they reset your account, you lose all projects you may have.

Re: How to clean cloud storage ?
No problem, at the moment, I have no more projects in the cloud. Only local projects.
My local projects won't be deleted??

I'll escalate it again and hopefully someone from Avid can reach out and help you clear them. |

Re: How to clean cloud storage ?
They said they started a case for this. I would assume you would hear something soon.
