Default DA-78 and Pro-Tools question...

Does anybody know if the Sync features on the DA-78 will allow me to lock to Pro-Tools to an 888? I'm familiar with using Digi's SSD and USD devices, I was just wondering if the DA-78 could take the place of a Digidesign sync device, or do you need both?

Thanks!

The DA78 will sync to MTC so you could output MTC to the DA78 and slave the DA88 to the DA78.
