'Spill' great new plug for post

Great new plug from Neyrinck for us post people, 'Spill'.
This came out of the blue, very simple, but I can see its going to be super useful.
I've been missing a little utility like this for a long time.

How exactly you use this kind of method (spill). I've never worked with big console.
How is it different with the surround panner?

I remember seeing a very similar feature on a Calrec Apollo a couple years back and I could not figure out why this hadn't made the jump to post so long.

Looks extremely cool but there is no option to buy perpetual license. Looks like it is subscription only.

I'm not sure I would actually use the ipad remote 'spill' part, but I'll give it
a go.
For me it gives options to easily adjust the levels of individual legs
of multi-channel aux's, which you can't do in the panner.
Say you want to just duck the centre under dialogue or boost the surrounds
on a music track without lowering the L/R.
There are other ways to do those things with master faders, but this makes it super easy.

It's only $50 a year, that's a Dollar a week. If it saves me time and gives me flexibility and is updated regularily then it's well worth it!
Paul Neyrinck is a brilliant guy.

Neyrinck's other plugins have saved me days of time over the years.
Spill is well worth it.

I just have an aversion to 'renting' stuff which I probably need to get over.
