I've been saving my plugin setting so I can get to them across session for the past couple of years, and now suddenly for the last month, they only save in the session folder. Any idea why?

I figured it out! I feel dumb. I'll leave this here for anyone searching the forum.
In the plugin window, click the little down arrow next to the word "Preset" at the top of the window. "Setting Preferences" -> "Save plug-in Settings To" Here you can choose between: "Root Settings Folder" "Session Folder"
