Upgrading from 8LE to 12

This quote from the website suggests to that probably does not include the "Annual Upgrade and Support Plan":

So whats your point?

There are only three options:

1. Pay by year $199
2. Rent by month $29-$39
3. Buy the perpetual license - $899

This is the $199 option which includes the Standard Support Plan that has been the only plan for this upgrade since last year!

Pleae lets NOT make this thread into a licensing thread as there are many of them already.

As to the Annual Upgrade and Support Plan they write:

So I think (and hope) this will be included.
Anyway to be sure the OP audiogeek247 may doublecheck this with Musicians Friend
support via phone before buying the upgrade!

Ps: as Christopher has mentioned this pretty sure is the standard LE upgrade for $199.- from December,
so there should be no problem actually. The included iLok 2 is a nice gift though.

If it does include the $199 "Annual Upgrade and Support Plan", it would be an incredible (unbelievable?) deal. I'd be inclined to ask for a written quote explicitly stating that (but I'm paranoid).

Nothing strange about this. All upgrades bought since last October include the support plan and 1 year of upgrades. It's just that the specific upgrade from LE was a limited time only, or while supplies last. Musicians friend still has some left over.
