Default Trial Version

Downloaded the the 11 trial. It's asking for an iLock. Does this mean I need to purchase one for the 'free' trial version?

tnx

It's the first line of the requirements

http://www.avid.com/trial/protools
"Requirements

You must have a second-generation USB iLok and an iLok.com account to authorize your Pro Tools 11 trial, and meet the minimum system requirements for the software you request"

You mean an ilok comes with pro tools 11? Only the boxed versions, not digital downloads AFAIK.

Before you make your purchase, you may want to consider getting an Eleven Rack, which comes with a full license for PT11, and an Ilok 2 as well, all for just $669 at most places.

Alternatively, if you just want PT11 only, you can get it for $449 at audiodeluxe.com (download only, you will then also need to buy an Ilok 2).
