Default 6.4.1 TDM and cursor down arrow in stop mode bug

Thanks for the 6.4.1 update.

However, please forgive me, but I assumed the cursor down arrow bug which had been identified in sessions with a Session Start: 00:00:00:00 would be fixed in this release? This was in a fairly recent bug thread and I think it was Danny from DD who identified the Session Start parameter triggering the bug.

Just to recap, the down arrow returns the left marker to the start of the session when playback is stopped and not the current position as it should.

I sure hope that this long standing bug gets fixed in a further release for my Mix system because it has caused me no end of grief with editing tracks.

I can't promise anything. There are far worse issues than these to deal with. I'd suggest not using 00;00;00;00 for a start time. Even 00;00;00;01 will work.

I know it's gauche, but it's a pretty easy workaround.

Hi Steven,

While not fixing the problem. the workaround suggested of not starting at 00:00:00:00 is a good one for several reasons.
Mainly, if you want to extend the beginning of your session you run into a Y2K sort of situation with your start time running into the 23:59:xx:xx causing programs to thing they're of 23+ hours away from their start time instead of only a few seconds away. Starting at 01:00:00:00 is the start time I have tried to use since the old days of tape. This still allows your second counter to be reliable for displaying song length.

Till the problem is fixed, you might wanna try it.
