Network Interface not showing in EUCON Preferences

Working under Mac Os 10.8.5, I updated PT11.2.0 to 11.3.2 and PT10.3.8 To 10.3.10. Since EuCon 3.3 is needed for 11.3.2, I installed EuCon 3.3.2 and updated the firmware of my Artist Control to the latest version. The whole thing was a mistake, as I realized only today (but could have known I have would have read the 11.3.2/3.3.2-ReadMe more carefully).

Yesterday, everything worked fine (at least Artist Control connected to EuControl and ProTools 11, that much I can tell - didnt use it yesterday for any mixing). Today on startup, EuControl doesnt find my Artist Control. After some research I noticed that EUControl 3.3.2 is not for MacOs 10.8.5, so I uninstalled all of it and installed 3.2.1 which is the latest version that is supposed to work on Os 10.8.5.

Its still not working. Main symptom is that under Eucon Preferences' Network Interface the proper interface won't show up. My setup is a 27" iMac connected to a Thunderbolt screen connected via ethernet to my Artist Control. No WIFI, no switch. Display ethernet set to manually, IP address 10.0.01, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0. Several reboots and re-installs didnt change anything.

Is there any way to fix this mess without updating my MacOs to whatever version is officially supported with the PT-versions I am using, as I am right in the beginning of a bigger and tight scheduled project and would rather not mess with all the other software (compatibility to MacOs >10.8.5 etc) on my computer right now, as well as giving up the possibility to have PT10 installed together with PT11?

PS: Artist Control is stuck on start-up screen all the time, btw. Shows up on Bonjour Browser though.

Only way to solve this seemed to be to upgrade to OS 10.10, which I just did. Eucon is now still not running great, but better than it did ever before.
