Default Fader caps

Does anyone know if you can put different fader caps, like Penny and Giles style on a Command 8. Does Digi or any other company make different caps that fill fit the Command 8? Also, anyone think I should get an old school Hui over a Command 8?

I would love to replace the caps. They slip away from my fingers constantly. You need some kind of sharp edge on a fader cap!

HUI caps work just fine.

I'm not sure if Digi makes other caps, but you could always order just the caps from Mackie.

Get the Command|8! The HUI is way too prone to problems that require servicing, and servicing a discontinued product can get expensive.

I bought 8 of the Pro Control fader caps. Much easier to use. I think I spent about $7 each for them. Well worth the investment if you're doing alot of mixing. Those other faders are a total joke.

I put P+G caps on mine. Feels much better.

AND the P+G logo on each cap gives it a more "pro" look

I ordered mine from Troy Morris at Key Code Media, 818-303-3900. I'm sure any digi dealer could order them for you though, if you're not in the LA area.
