Is it just me, or does 6.1 kick boo-tay?

I had a fairly painless install and it works beautifully. It looks GREAT and the new features are most welcome. Command focus, which I'm still getting used to, finally brings the advantages of cumputer efficiency to LE. DigiBase is a great idea, too- again bringing the advantage of computer filing systems to audio production.

I'm impressed. I'm *very* happy with my upgrade. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] Worth the wait- kudos to the digi design team.

Actually I think it ROCKS too.
The wave driver needs a lttle work (Some Apps won't play)but it's still in beta.
Rewire is definitely super duper pooper scooper.

I love it all, but there are some downsides. I had some sessions wich ran fine on 5.3, but dont run on 6.1. They load fine, but i got the deeply hated cpu-messages...so its a bit more cpu-heavy i guess. I already was stretching it a bit, and i ran out of juice....i am running an amd athlon 1700+

so i ordered a new mobo and will also get myself a new processor....

Other then that ptle 6.1 rocks, and so does rewire!

unfortunately i dont know cause i have to buy the upgrade, only because i got the xp upgrade for free... wish i could check it out.. id like a fresh new look..
