update pt 10.0.0 to pt 10.3.10

I want to do the update to 10.3.10... does anyone know how to get that at this late a date?

Is it available with the software updater that came with PT10 or do I have to do another install from scratch?

Would I find it on the avid website or is that not available anymore since its so old?

I have windows 7 64 bit and pt tools 10.

Do you have a current support subscription? If so updates available to you should be in your Avid account downloads. If they are not showing up there contact Avid support.

Not on a support plan... you would need to buy a support reinstatement for $299. Talk to somebody like Sweetwater to get you sorted out there.

yes I have the updates available on my account... but I didn't know if I can just update over 10.0 or do I have to do an clean uninstall and an totally new reinstall of 10.3.10??

The release notes and read me are worth reading... but these are normally, as in this case, full installers and you are best off doing an uninstall and reinstall. After you make (and test) a full bootable clone backup of your system drive of course...

As Darryl already mentioned, on PC you need to do a complete uninstall and on Mac just drag the PT package to the trash found in Application dropdown.

The windows machines require uninstall before you install a new PT version update or full installler. PT10.3.10 is a full installer.
