cpu meter shooting up after playback
hey guys im having a cpu problem here, i`ve finished up a track and i`ve have about 15 plug ins going on it, and when i play the track the cpu meter barely gos above 1/3 on the meter. but when i stop the track to play with a bit more after about 2 seconds the cpu useage shoots up and doesnt come back down and i get a message from pro tools telling me to get rid of some plug ins.
i cant understand it, pro tools is the only thing working on the machine and it will play the track with all the plug ins but messes up on me when im editing. can anyone help? my spec is 002R 2.8 ghz dell pc 1 g of ram |

Are you using D-verb? If YES, search the DUC for 'denormalization'...

if u are using D-verb just put a Dither plugin in ur insert before the Dverb and set it to 20 bit
