Default Just checking in.

Good morning. Just thought I'd drop in to see what's going on in DUC world.
I've been combing the alternative to Pro Tools DAW sites and decided to look in to Mixbus3 from Harrison consoles. The features shown on the site looked great so I ordered it as a download. ($49.00 for everything, includes 3 free upgrades). Let me say upfront that if you are on a pc and it's not fully loaded don't bother! I couldn't get a session open even with their tech help! The license download part had me pulling out what little hair I have left in order to find which file it wound up in on my pc! Long story short, They gave back my $49.00 but stated that they usually don't do refunds. I assume that if you are using a Mac with all the power needed that it would probably be ok,(?). Please don't consider this a put down of the Software. It is strictly my opinion based on my experience. The search goes on.

Hmm, that's odd(and too bad). Mixbus is the one and only DAW that genuinely sounds better than the rest(to me anyway)

Thanks albee. Yeah, I was really looking forward to the experience of working in the old school method they advertise. Oh well! When and if I get a computer that will handle it I'll give it another try.
