Cytomic has updated The Glue to v1.3.11 and The Drop to v1.0.14, both adding AAX support.

“The Glue is an analog modeled compressor plug-in based on The classic 80's British big console buss compressor with some additional features. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulation packages but optimised for real time use. It's quick and easy to use and has an uncluttered interface.

Additions over the original circuit include an ultra-fast attack time down to 0.01mS and a Range knob, which backs off the compression to give incredibly natural sounding attacks and also limit the maximum amount of compression applied. There is also external sidechain support and an adjustable sidechain highpass filter.”

Today I cry with tears of joy!!!!! I have been waiting for this since PT11 came out!!!!! I bought Slate VBC but I have so many sessions with the Glue that I was stuck on PT 10. Now all I need is Massey and I am good to go!

Grabbed it yesterday. LOVE IT! Works flawlessly in PT12 although I could not authorize it online automatically and used the manual method. No biggie. Only took a few extra mouse clicks.

Cytomic Planned AAX DSP and Native versions will be available in "early 2012”.

Would LOVE an aax-dsp version of the glue...... Native aax is working well here in protools 12 btw

That's great news. Andy should also know that, I speak for myself but I have a feeling others would do the same, I would pay extra for a DSP upgrade for sure.
