more analog outputs

I have searched and cannot find a solution to this, probably common, situation. I have a couple of old Tascam DA 38's... and would like to incorporate their D/A converters into my HD/2, C24, 192, 96, Sync i/o ; to have 8 more analog outs. (for cue mixes, etc) the 192 is loaded with an extra A/D card and other than that, everything is pretty simple.
Have tried many different configs to get this machine to sync... just can;t figure it out. thanks, SB

If I understand you correctly (i.e. all 16 analog outs are taken), I suppose you could feed a set of eight mirrored output channels to the DA-38, via the 192 I/O’s TDIF outputs. The DA-38 would have to be clocked by PT, and be monitoring its inputs.

However, if your “additional” analog outputs need to be discrete (independent from the 16 you currently enjoy on the 192 I/O), I’m afraid that only additional interfaces will do the job.
