Firmware updates scare me too and it takes some time to do the HDX cards, but it all went fine. The advantage of progress in the PT software (and 11.2.2 is definitely progress) is way more important than that 10 min, touch wood sequence

I did it last night, it all checked out PT 11.2.2 and core audio worked still with iTunes and Sound Blade still (thank god!)

All seems OK to me.

Firmware update was faultless too.
