Default Fashion shoot camera sounds in 2011?

What kind of sound do these new digital SLR's and flashes make on a shoot today? We have the old-fashioned 80s sounds in our heads (and libraries), but what is the reality now? Any library suggestions? Thanks.

I've recorded a few to update my camera fx and they still have a shutter just like the old ones though a little different. I've recorded a Canon T2i, Canon 5D, Nikon D50, and a Nikon D80. Personally I like the 5D the best. PM me and I can send a couple over.

I was just watching "CSI" tonight, where they are always taking pictures at crime scenes, using digital cameras. It seems that they use the typical "shutter sound" not unlike what we would have seen years ago. For what it's worth.

Yes... like JR said. The new digital SLR cameras still have a mechanical shutter, so they still make a similar sound. The big difference is that there isn't a film rewind sound like in the older film cameras.

I like the Canon 5D sound the best too and use it as my main "modern" camera click now.

I also use some old camera shutter sounds for variation. I really like the "soft" sounding shutter of an Olympus OM-1.
