7.1 Running Jerky
I run protools with Reason. Reason runs great in rewire mode with one exception, the loops sound shallow when in rewire mode, but stand alone the depth is there. I did the windows dual core hot fix. Protools is running sluggish. The screen freezes up when I try to move around in the edit window. Faders won’t respond right away. If I press record enable button on a track it won’t activate right away I will have to alt+tab between the two programs to shake protools back to what I am doing. The recording track won’t show its recording when I press record button sometimes, but it will be recording. I do record with a low buffer level and increase as necessary. What could be the problem?
