Default Starting to like this Eleven Rack I just bought!

Hi guy's my name is John and I'm new to the forum and the 11Rack as well, been wanting to try this for a while and had chance to pick this up at a good price ($250). It's still Ver 1.03 and it didn't come with Pro Tools which is fine by me, spent a few days just figuring this out but I'm starting to get the hang of it. Found a patch I liked it's D4 Black Hat and all I tweaked was the microphone I thought that's all it needed, I recorded this direct into my mixer then into my computer. Check it out if you want let me know what you think...

I think this box will be a lot of fun!!

Sounds great, yes they are nice boxes. And you can use it with any DAW, it does not need to be Pro Tools.

I like the tone, but personally I'm not into 'shredding' for shredding sake. (no disrespect, you are clearly an accomplished musician).

Lately I've been using my 11R in conjunction with a Marshall JMP-1 and getting some nice blended tones.

No, for live setup I'm using a Tonebone Radial 'Switchbone' (ABY Box) to split the guitar signal to feed each unit, running to their own discrete FRFR Amp/Cab. I get the choice of running either one separately or both in tandem.

I'm looking into swapping out the Switchbone for the Voodoo Lab GCX Audio Switcher & Ground Control so I can also introduce my Mesa 5/50 combo into the mix as well. It may sound like overkill but believe me the blends I've been able to get are mind blowing! Or as stated already, I can keep each separate for their own distinct sounds.

I thought about using mine in the loop of my Marshall and may still be an option, I have a couple of Alto TS112A and those sound very good with the 11 Rack once tweaked. I will take my time and get use to the 11 Rack before I decide to use it with my band I still need a controller.

I played mine into my Lunchbox amp. Didn't look at the book just dialed about... Think I found a couple of tweak able patches. The chorus / flanger sounds good. I will stay in the studio until I can get a rack for it. Certainly a great deal to get into Pro Tools
