Default CPU & plug in issues

Does anyone know how to fix this pop up in PT 11? It says "protools ran out of CPU. Try de- activating or removing native plugins (-9173). It's killing me. I have 2 instrument tracks open. If I record sounds in both tracks, it will only save the last one played. When I saved it and opened it up again, one of the instrument tracks is grayed out. It was the 1st instrument track that 's grayed out. I search this forum and didn't see anything that would help. Also, I've played around with the playback engine changing the sample numbers. Don't know if that affects my situation.

There is another thread about this issue in this section. I got it then closed and reopened a session then it worked. Got this again last night trying to bounce a QT in real time, but it worked offline.
