W7 install freezes at application files

PT 8 M-Powered Installer keeps freezing when I install the Application Files part. As of right now it's been running for 16 hours straight. I did all optimizations on the DigiDesign site and uninstalled IE8. PT installed on my Vista computer without having to do anything. I just don't want to use PT on that computer. Any help will be appreciated. This is day three of trying and it's really frustrating.
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
4GB RAM
Intel 2.2Ghz DuoCore
