Upgrade - Help Needed Please

Hi,

The hard drive on my Macbook Pro died recently and I lost all of the software I had installed on my laptop including Pro Tools and all of my plug-ins.

The protools version I had was an LE 7.4 upgrade that I'd purchased from the Digidesign store when I got the Macbook Pro (I previously used a Powerbook).
It was under a year ago that I got the upgrade but I can't remember what I actually did.

Should I still be able to access that download or would I have to buy it again?
If so which LE download should I go for this time or which is most recent?




Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you should be able to download again and retrieve the authorization code from your MyDIGI login. Meanwhile, do yourself a huge favor and grab another new drive for your laptop(same size as you have installed) and pop it into any cheap external drive case(USB is fine for this). Once you get your system back up and running with all your software installed and authorized, find a disk cloning utility and clone your laptop drive to the external. Next time you have a crash, just install your cloned drive and go. As one who has been bitten by this before(and can feel your pain) it is the best money you may ever spend.
