Is my session corrupted?
I've been working for a couple of weeks on this mix, and all of a sudden, it won't open. I get a ton of windows cascading with the "C+++ Virtual Basic" error and then PT crashes. I thought at first it was my RAM so I upgraded it and I still get the same thing. I checked my session backups and it seems that each of the ones I try take me back to when the session didn't even have any window configurations.
This blows. This has happened to me about 2-3 times before but this time, it reaaaaally sucks because I had worked on this mix for so long, with tons and tons of automation and I can't think of anything to try to fix this. Already tried a system restore, didn't work. Can someone (possibly a rep from Digidesign may want to take a crack at this?) tell me why this happens? |

Re: Is my session corrupted?
If you move your plug-ins to the 'un-used' folder does this still happen?

Re: Is my session corrupted?
Thanks for the suggestion, I haven't tried that. I'll try it later today; it makes sense that the plugins used on the session might be doing something, as I'm using 4 UAD-1 cards and a few native plugs on the session that were taxing the system pretty heavily.
