Mbox With MacBook 2.16 Optimal Set-up for max Performance
I am wondering what the best setup for attaining max performance out of my set-up is. I am running the following below. I have read other post that state they are running tons of plug-ins and I have hardware crashes with just 4 plug-ins. Please give advice!!

I can relate.
PT just isn't as powerful as it was when I owned my 1st Gen. Macbook: 1.83 GHz and 1 Gig of RAM, with Tiger and PT 7.3. I used to be able to really push that machine to it's limits (32 tracks, 10 - 12 FX returns, Master track, and plugins on everything and everywhere!!) and it would still function, albeit a little slower. Now, I'm lucky if I can get 1/2 that. And, everything is up to spec. and date according to Digi's guidelines. I'm bummed! Current set-up: Macbook: 2.1 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 Gig of RAM with Leopard 10.5.3 Digi 002r, PT 7.4.2
